Volunteers RequiredWe are extremely fortunate to have the majority of last years Team managers returning in 2007/08. Depending upon the number of teams the club fields this season we may also be seeking a new Team Manager. We are seeking immediate expressions of interest from parents of U12 & U14 players for a Team Managers position. Those who volunteer with be given receive full training and assistance prior to the commencement of the season.
Furthermore as always we will need to parents to assist with match scoring, ground preparation, transport to grounds and very importantly, training sessions. We strongly encourage ALL parents to assist their coaches and team managers at all times. These roles are vital not just to the success of the teams, but the actual fielding of the teams and ALL parents are urged to consider supporting their children’s team in some capacity. To register your interest, please call Junior Coordinator - Anthony Wakeling 0425 877 516 Sponsorship We now need to offset the cost of fielding the teams (and the associated increased Insurance Premiums) and one successful way last season was to attract TEAM SPONSORS. Previously, sponsors have been able to display their business logo/name on Team Ladder Boards within the Pavilion and receive regular recognition in Club Newsletters and Website some also have previously displayed their logo/business name on team shirts (at their cost); and we are considering new ways to ‘add value’ to such a commitment.Season sponsorship costs a minimum $150 per team and we are again seeking new Team Sponsors for the 2007/08 cricket season. In particular this Season we are seeking local businesses who are prepared to sponsor an new incentive for players this season, a MVP award for each team each match. If you own a local business or know of someone who does and they are seeking community recognition for the sponsorship of a local sports team they may contact Junior Coordinator Anthony Wakeling directly on mobile phone: 0425 877 516 Equipment Once again the club has invested in the Junior Section with each team having Cricket Kits inspected and necessary match day equipment refurbished and/or replaced. Cricket Balls including match day and training are supplied again for the season as in the past
